In the 1980 campaign Ronald Reagen asked the people if they were better off than they were 4 years ago. There were issues in the voters mind. It was the taxes and the hostages issues. The economy was crucial to Reagon's victory. in 1980 the missery rate was 20%, that is more than it is now. that was because of the stock market crash, the broken heath-care. the taxes have risen since the 1980's and they are going up. they ar emaking up new bills every day. and somebody is going to have to pay them. the gas prices are going up and i really dont want to pat 5 dollars a gallon. the next president will hwve to get us out of war with everybody because its not doing any thing but kill every body.

all the food in the world is going up. and farmers are selling there corn so that people can use it for ethanol. meat alone has gone up 124% since 2004. food cost track up the energy cost. so the energy is going up. but pop hasn't been going up lately. since the economy is going up in china and in India. it is enabling people to buy pricier food like fruit and veggies.
